Junkers EF029

The EF029 was the Designator for a high altitude aircraft, which was developed by Junkers, the DVL and the Notgemeinschaft der Deutschen Wissenschaft since February 1928. The EF029 Designator was first used in June 1928. In February 1929 the final design was offered to DVL and the Designator was already changed to Junkers J49. In October 1931 the final Junkers Ju49 flew for the first time.
