Baade (VEB Flugzeugbau) 155 (PTL, 1955)
56-70 seater PTL Medium range airliner, 1955
The Baade 155 was originally the last of initially five aircraft designs, which Baade developed as the aircraft Programme for VEB Flugzeugbau. Like the two engined 153 it was a two engined cantilever aircraft for 56-70 passengers on medium range routes. The development was started together with the 153 and 154 in 1955 but soon stopped and abandoned.
The type Designator "155" was used again since 1959 for a short range passenger airliner with two ZTL engines.
