Junkers Jumo 209
Six Cylinder, vertical opposed piston, compression ignition, Diesel Oil powered, two stroke, none built
The Jumo 209 was a fluid cooled Diesel engine.
It seemed to be a further development step of the Jumo 207/208.
T/O power was designed to 736kW.
Test Cell Runs were performed in 1939 and 1940,
but the engine never seemed to have been used on an aircraft.
No further information is available upon that engine.
