developed by Junkers Flugzeugwerke in Dessau
Historical Background:
The J28 was projected as a fighter aircraft for the German Air Force. The basic concepts were taken from the J21 approach. It should be equipped with a BMW VI engine and two seats. This project was temporarily stopped by the German Air Force, when the discussions between Junkers and the Russian Government arise about the Fili venture. It was finally dropped, when the competitor Albatros successfully flew first the L70 fighter aircraft in September 1926
