In 1933 the Reichsluftfahrtministerium RLM introduced sequential designator numbers from a list for all aircraft designs of the German aviation industry. Junkers Flugzeugwerke therefore stopped its own sequential designator list since 1933 and continued to use reserved numbers from the RLM list for their new designs. This results in several gaps in the designator numbers of Junkers aircraft. The number "62" to "76" were reserved for other manufacturers in the RLM list. These numbers were not used for designations of any Junkers aircraft, except for inhouse project studies (EF designs, see later).
